Describe yourself as a person.
I was born in New York City and love being around an eclectic group of people. I enjoy meeting people from different countries and backgrounds, tasting their foods, and getting to know who they are. Being outdoors in nature is something I enjoy because I have a curious mind and love exploring things. I also love animals and have several of my own. In addition, I believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. He has blessed me in so very many ways. I thank him for everything he does for me every second of my life.

My mom wanted to get me out of an overcrowded school and provide me with a better education. Through many hours of research, we found Ignite Christian Academy.
Your teachers describe you as "diligent" and "hard-working." What motivates you to be such an involved student?
The Lord and my parents motivate me to do well and to have determination. By working diligently and achieving my goals, I am preparing for a higher education and a successful career.
Is there anything you've encountered while studying at ICA that has surprised you?
I'm learning so much more than in a brick and mortar school. Also, the teachers, staff, and tech support are loving and caring.
What is your favorite part of being an online student?
My favorite part of online schooling is that I have the power to choose the hours I school, which allows me to participate in other extracurricular activities.
What type of activities are you involved in?
I belong to LeadersNow International, a Christian group that will help me develop leadership skills. I also joined the Civil Air Patrol because I have an interest in the military. In addition, I'm involved in the teenage advisory board at my local library, Taekwondo Chung Do Kwan association, a major orchestra group, and a sundry of other clubs.
What are some of your other hobbies?
I have been playing the violin since the age of three. I love classical music and I feel that I can express myself through music. My parents are antique collectors, so I have developed an interest in collecting antique keys and padlocks. I also enjoy reading, scootering, drawing, and photography.
If you could pursue any career in the world which one would you choose and why?
I would like to work for the government in cyber security. I enjoy working with computers and I would like to be able to protect my country and other nations from cybercrimes. I would also like to travel around the world playing my violin while spreading peace through my music.
What would others be surprised to learn about you?
I am a good singer. I like to sing blues, soul, and jazz, particularly Etta James.
Of what accomplishment in life are you most proud?
A couple of years ago I auditioned at the Juilliard School for a special two year program and got accepted. Out of 900 auditions, 80 students were accepted and I was one of them. It was hard work, but getting my diploma after two years was great! I'm also proud of having played at the United Nations during the Peace Bell Ceremonies, and of going to Nagasaki, Japan to play for both the mayor and in commemoration of the bombing that took place in 1945.
If you could offer a bit of advice to fellow ICA students, what would it be?
I would tell them to have faith and determination, to always go down the right path, to look at all the positive outcomes that life can offer, and to believe that the Lord and your parents are always there for you.
