What Is School Choice Funding?

State education funding for school choice refers to policies and programs that allow public education funds to be used for various schooling options, including home learning. These funds can be used to cover expenses like curriculum, online learning tuition, and tutoring. Participating states provide funds through education savings accounts (ESAs), vouchers, and tax credits.

What Does My State Offer?

Although many states provide funding, the type, amount, and requirements will differ from state to state. Explore our state funding chart to see what your state offers. However, state funding legislation and practices continually evolve, so be sure to check your state’s department of education website for the most up-to-date information.
