What You Do as a Parent

At ICA, you don't have to be the teacher. Here are the best ways to support your student:

×

Designate a learning space

Designate a learning space

Set up a dedicated area that has good lighting and is free of distraction so your child can focus.

Establish a daily routine

Accredited Teachers

Every course is taught by qualified Christian educators who provide feedback, assess student work, and offer support via office hours and scheduled 1:1 sessions. Plus, teachers send progress reports and host parent/teacher conferences, keeping parents informed and helping students stay on track.

1:1 Academic Support

Students can access help when they need it through:

 • Drop-in Academic Support Rooms
 • Scheduled Teacher Appointments
 • 24/7 Tutoring Support (for grades 3‑12)

Education Coordinators for Parents

Our ECs are your go-to support for course selection, technical help, accessibility needs, and questions that don’t involve grading or coursework. Think of them as your education concierge.

Counselor Access

Students who need additional help with time management, college planning, or learning strategies can turn to ICA counselors for guidance in developing strong learning and planning skills.

Support Beyond the Classroom

Learning at ICA includes more than just academics. Your child will be surrounded by a faith-filled community with opportunities to grow socially and spiritually:
