Uncover the rich and diverse voices that have shaped American identity through literature. This one-semester course traces the evolution of American writing from the 1600s to the present, featuring major works that reflect the nation's struggles, ideals, and cultural shifts.
In this course, students will learn:

- Analysis Skills
- American Literary Movements
Students read influential writers like Dickinson, Whitman, Twain, Hemingway, and Fitzgerald, analyzing how literature reflects history and human experience. This course strengthens critical reading and writing skills, making it an excellent complement to college-prep English study.
