Discover how leadership, innovation, and industry shape the global economy. This one-semester CTE course introduces middle school students to career fields in business, manufacturing, transportation, architecture, construction, and marketing.

In this course, students will learn:

  • Industry Foundations
  • Business & Production Systems
  • Infrastructure & Transportation
  • Marketing & Career Pathways

Each unit examines a specific career field, exploring its history, current practices, and future opportunities. Students investigate how goods are produced, businesses are managed, infrastructure is built, and products are marketed in today’s economy. By studying these industries, students gain insight into potential career interests and prepare for advanced high school CTE pathways.
