Strengthen academic skills through deeper reading, thoughtful writing, and structured communication. This one-semester course supports continued development in grammar, literary analysis, and writing as students explore classic American literature, drama, poetry, and nonfiction texts.
In this course, students will learn:

- American Fiction & Drama
- Essay & Poetry Writing
- Research & Vocabulary
Students read To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee and Our Town by Thornton Wilder and selections of poetry and nonfiction while developing writing and research skills. Ideal for students needing reinforcement, this course builds confidence in reading, writing, and critical thinking.
