Continue exploring the story of art through three-dimensional media and early world civilizations. This one-semester course builds on foundational art concepts of Introduction to Art I, guiding students through prehistoric and ancient artistic traditions across cultures.

In this course, students will learn:

  • 3D Art Forms
  • Prehistoric & Ancient Art
  • Cultural & Religious Symbolism
  • Art in History

Students develop observation and evaluation skills as they examine how art communicates commemoration, documentation, and belief systems, developing a deeper understanding and connection to God. Through the study of global artistic traditions before 1400, students gain a broader understanding of art’s enduring influence on culture and society.
