Strengthen the academic skills needed for success on the SAT and beyond. This one-semester elective course provides focused preparation in math and evidence-based reading and writing to help students build confidence and improve performance on college entrance exams.

In this course, students will learn:

  • Reading Craft & Structure
  • Writing & Grammar

Students practice analyzing complex texts, interpreting information and ideas, and applying standard English conventions. Through targeted review and structured practice, this course equips students with the strategies and skills needed for college readiness and SAT success.
